Breakthrough detection technology for faster drillingDeveloped by Peddinghaus engineers, this technology detects the moment the drill breaks through the material. The machine is informed that the hole is complete and moves straight on to the next drilling position. Breakthrough detection ensures that more time is spent actually drilling material.
Measurement by the drill carriageThe Avenger+ drill line offers a unique measuring system for the highest accuracy. On this machine the drill carriage travels to the processing position, so there is no need to move the material to the processing unit by crane. The distance travelled by the drill carriage is recorded by precision encoders, guaranteeing perfectly finished parts.
Sturdy clamping system to eliminate vibrationPrecise workpiece clamping is crucial for tool life and profitability. Perfect clamping, optimal support from the material table and maximum surface contact guarantee that the material is held securely throughout processing.
Sub-X processingThe Sub-X travel of the Avenger+ allows small areas to be processed without releasing the workpiece clamps or moving the machine. An operating area of up to 127 mm ensures maximum drilling efficiency.
Raptor 3D CAD/CAM SoftwareDeveloped by Peddinghaus, Raptor 3D CAD/CAM Software takes CNC innovation further by enabling users to program faster and more accurately. Inspect, modify and export part information directly within the 3D platform. This coupled with Peddinghaus CNC technology means maximum capacity for fabricators.
