Highlights
Two-column designThe 510-DGA band saw allows comfortable sawing thanks to its two-column design and 3° blade cant. This design prevents vibration and makes a decisive contribution to cut quality, cutting speed and blade life.
Mitre systemThe 510-DGA band saw features a double mitre system for 45° and 60° cuts in both directions. Full cutting capacity in the mitre range is reached by program command or by manual entry in the saw control.
Precise material clampingThe material vices of the 510-DGA clamp the material directly at the saw blade. This ensures additional stability as the blade enters the cut and as it retracts.
High speed sawing technologyReduce sawing time and increase productivity with the following functions: fast blade approach, automatic material detection, automatic switchover from rapid to working feed, automatic feed adjustment during the cut, end-of-cut detection and automatic retraction.
Electric ball screw saw feedThe precision ball screw saw feed ensures exact feed rates, extending blade life and improving cut quality.
Laser light lineWhere automatic sawing is not appropriate or not available, the operator can mark the cutting line with a laser light line. Using this guide line, the material can be positioned manually and precisely under the saw blade.
Minimum quantity lubricationThe 510-DGA band saw is equipped with the latest minimum quantity lubrication system. The environmentally friendly vegetable oil based lubricant is applied directly to the cutting surface, an economical solution compared with water based coolant flood systems.
